24/7 Dad
Fatherhood Program and Family Groups sponsored by Venango Fatherhood Initiative. At 24/7 Dad, men discuss the joys and concerns of raising children and learn new parenting tips and techniques with other Dads in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.

- Effective and appropriate discipline
- How to build and maintain healthy relationships
- How to communicate effectively
- About family roles
- The importance of involved, responsible fathers
Schedule
24/7 Dad runs for eight weeks. These groups will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Carone Center located at 29 Pearl Avenue in Oil City. Enrollment is free and a light meal will be served. The whole family is welcome to attend! Separate groups are available for women and children. The women's groups will discuss topics related to the 24/7 Dad Program including mothering and mother/father interactions. Depression Bi-Polar Support Alliance (DBSA)
Support group for those 18 and older who have diagnoses of depression and/or bi-polar disorder. Depression and bipolar disorder can be isolating illnesses, but DBSA support groups can help those with these diagnoses to connect with others who have been there as well. Having support is essential to recovery.

The Venango County Warm Line
The Warm Line Program is non-emergency peer support telephone service that is in place to assist individuals who need someone to talk to or just listen. Phone representatives have been trained to facilitate supportive conversations and are available to take calls Monday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. (excluding holidays). All conversations and calls are 100% confidential.
