The Venango County Regional Planning Commission (VCRPC) works with communities to protect their natural environments and assists local municipalities in the day-to-day functions related to subdivision, land development, and grant applications.
The VCRPC Board Meeting scheduled for 6:30 pm on Tuesday, August 16th (9/20/2022) will be held at the Courthouse Annex (1147 Elk Street, Franklin) in Room 100.

Household Hazardous Waste Event 2022

Venango County Infrastructure Bank Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Program is Open for Applications
The Venango County Commissioners are pleased to announce the opening of the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Venango County Infrastructure Bank (VCIB) Program, a reduced interest rate infrastructure loan program exclusively benefiting municipalities in Venango County in an effort to help mitigate the cost of your water, sewer, stormwater, road, bridge, and other critical facilities projects.

Need financial relief?
COVID-19 Rent/Mortgage/Utility (RMU) Program
Funds are available for residents living in portions of Venango County outside of Franklin and Oil City limits. This program is designed to provide assistance to residents who have lost income as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic by offering up to three months of financial relief from rent, mortgage, and utility payments. Residents must have low-to-moderate income and be able to provide supplemental documentation. Please visit the community development page for more information.
